The Freaky Nikki Final Look from Obsession, Explained
When people search for "Freaky Nikki", this is the look they mean: not the zebra top from earlier in the night, but the one from the end, where the floral dress, the tattoos and the blood all come together. Here's exactly what's in it.
In this guide
The dress
A black floral mini dress with a sweetheart neckline and sheer lace puff sleeves. It's the one piece that has to be exactly right, everything else in this look is makeup and props.
The floral dress, the tattoos and the blood, all in one look.
The tattoos
Drawn on with a black marker, not stick-ons: a treble clef on the bare shoulder, and 2 hands shaped like a heart on the chest. Draw them before the blood, never after, or you'll smear the lines trying to work around it.
The blood
Not included with the outfit, and there's a lot more of it than in the zebra party look: streaks from the forehead down the nose, mouth and chin, trails down the neck and chest, and a few splatters lower down. We wrote a full makeup tutorial and homemade fake blood recipe, the same recipe works for this look, just apply it heavier and closer to the face instead of pouring it from the crown.
Tattoos drawn first, blood added last.
The brick
Carried low in one hand, or raised next to the face for photos. A soft foam brick is the safer choice at a party than a real one, and it photographs just as well.
