Who we are

Fright Kit is operated by Alexis Farque, sole proprietor, business registration (SIREN) 999 105 307, R.C.S. Chambéry, France, 20 rue des Diables Bleus, 73700 Bourg-Saint-Maurice, France. You can reach us at any time at support@frightkit.shop. We answer every email within 2 business days.

What we collect, and why

When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and the items you bought. We need these to take your payment, ship your order, give the carrier a way to reach you, and answer you if something goes wrong. We never see or store your full card number: your payment is handled by our payment processor.

When you browse: Shopify, our store platform, records the pages you visit and basic technical information from your device (browser, approximate location from your IP address) so the store works and so we can see which pages are visited.

If you join our email list: your email address, so we can send you your welcome code and our emails.

If you email us: whatever you write to us, so we can answer and keep a record of what was agreed.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone who is not listed below. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with, and why

  • Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which hosts the store, the checkout and our emails.
  • Our payment processor, to take your payment and to refund you.
  • CJ Dropshipping, our fulfillment partner, and our shipping carriers, to pack and deliver your order.

Each of them may only use your information to do the job we hired them for. We will update this policy before we add any advertising measurement tool.

How long we keep it

Order records: as long as required by accounting and tax law. Email list contacts: until you unsubscribe, and then we keep a record that you unsubscribed so we do not email you again. Browsing data: no longer than 25 months.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart, to remember your preferences and to keep the store secure. You can refuse the ones that are not strictly necessary. If you do, the store still works.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email support@frightkit.shop. We answer within 2 business days and act within 30 days.

California residents

If you live in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request its deletion, to request a copy of it, and to correct it. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of. You can still exercise the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" choice by emailing support@frightkit.shop, and we will confirm in writing that no sale or sharing took place.

Other US residents

Several states have their own consumer privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island. Whatever your state, and whether or not these state privacy laws technically apply to a business our size, we offer you the same choices: to know what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its use for targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing (which we do not do). To exercise any of these rights, email support@frightkit.shop.

We do not process sensitive personal information about you, and we do not sell sensitive personal information under any circumstance.

Children

This store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you are under 18, use the store with a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@frightkit.shop and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we tell you by email.
